But how do they stack up practically according to users in the real world?

Hair type: Fine and oily

I have over-processed coloured hair that I'm trying to rehab. Because it's so fine it gets very oily so I wash it frequently, probably too frequently.

Have you used TRESemmé products before? Yes - they're a go-to when I need to stretch the budget a bit.

What did you enjoy about this product? I'm in a slightly awkward position with my hair, it's quite damaged so needs some extra loving in the form of moisture. But because it's fine and naturally very oily, super nourishing products can sometimes be too much for my fine locks, so I was a bit hesitant of something with moisture rich in the name. To my delight (and surprise) my hair loves the formulation. The super juicy watermelon scent is nice too.

The best thing about it? My hair feels healthy and silky but not weighed down.

Would you use it again? Absolutely

Hair type: Thick, mid-long length with balayage

I need to wash my hair every 2-3 days or it becomes very dry, dull, and occasionally oily. I always blowdry my hair after washing (it’s too thick to air dry)  and I sometimes straighten or curl it if I have an event or social occasion to attend. I’ve been dying my hair for years, switching from foils to balayage in the last 12 months.

Have you used TRESemmé products before? Yes - the Botanique smooth remedy range.

What did you enjoy about this product?: I immediately noticed how soft and silky my hair felt after the first wash - I usually only get this effect leaving a salon appointment - and how well it lathered up without having to use too much. It usually takes me a lot of shampoo to ensure my hair’s washed properly due to its thickness. After three washes I noticed my balayage getting a bit lighter already and I’m looking forward to seeing the effects after I’ve used it for longer. I usually struggle with knots on day two or three after my wash as it’s so dry after years of dye, how thick it is and from always wearing it tied up for work, but I noticed a huge improvement on this and my hair still felt soft on day three. I like that it contains no parabens, alcohol or dyes as I’m trying to be more aware of the chemicals in the products I use on my body, and the bottles being made with 50% recycled plastic is a bonus as I am trying to make a concerted effort to reduce my plastic use - this plus the size of the bottles means I shouldn’t need to replace them for at least four months!

The best thing about it? How soft and silky my hair felt after the first wash, I usually only get that effect when I’ve had a salon appointment.

Would you use it again? Definitely

What did you enjoy about this product?  It smells amazing, it gave my hair great volume, and it is indeed super silky - and smoother.

What did you enjoy about this product? I enjoyed how shiny it made my hair - My flatmates definitely noticed a difference. The instructions on the back were super helpful and made me feel like I was at the salon in my own shower. My hair has had noticeably better volume while also being super soft and shiny since I started these products, and it smells amazing too.

The best thing about it? Ahhhh, the softness I reckon.
