Last Thursday night we had the pleasure of hosting an intimate gathering at the Untouched World store in Newmarket – dressed in our new-season winter knits and ready to celebrate sustainability in style.
The evening, held in honour of B Corp Month and featuring a curated selection of premium B Corp brands, offered a unique evening of shopping, styling and feel-good luxury, and the chance for like-minded local businesses to connect.
Guests including newly appointed Aotearoa Manager of B Lab Michele Wilson, Chloe Julian of Videris Lingerie and Duncan Greive of The Spinoff mingled over cold-brew negronis made with Ozone Coffee and tasted wines curated by Peter from Deep Down Wines.
The parfait bar with Raglan Food Company yoghurt, Blue Frog mueslis and Pic’s Peanut Butter, was a crowd favourite, while Bennetto chocolates provided the perfect little indulgence. Sawmill’s non-alcoholic beer and refreshing drinks from Pal’s and Almighty kept the vibe light and lively.
The Aleph Beauty team were on hand for bespoke beauty consultations, offering guests adorable luxe mini duos, while Deadly Ponies showcased highlights from its latest collection including a standout pair of bright blue ballet flats. Monarc Jewellery’s Ella Drake shared the inspiration behind her beautiful pieces, with many guests (us included) eyeing the gorgeous hair accessories.
Blunt Umbrellas added their signature chic practicality to the mix, while personal stylist Lucy Slight offered tips and advice for those trying on pieces from Untouched World’s just released autumn range. Those knits were an instant hit, with a few people making purchases on the spot. Guests left with a bag of goodies including colouring pencils from Deadly Ponies and a pair of ‘Rubbish socks’ from Untouched World, made from yarn scraps saved from landfill.
Photographer Danni Bishara was on hand to capture the stylish guests and their outfits, showcasing the night’s blend of fashion, sustainability and good vibes.
