Taualofa Totua (She/They) is a feature writer, collage maker and Pacific Climate Warrior whose work is inspired by nostalgic storytelling and legacy. A cadet in the mentorship programme The Next Page, Taualofa aims to centre the voices and experiences of BIPOC. Her writing addresses racism, family, love, youth, feminism and the impact of colonial systems on Pacific diaspora. Taualofa was featured in RNZ's Generation Next video series, and appeared in the short film Rise alongside other young organisers involved in the 2019 climate protest marches. She was also part of the 2020 Pacific Votes Count campaign to empower Pacific communities to recognise their influence in the elections. Taualofa's Moana heritage has roots in Sāmoa and Tonga.
