Raye, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Arlo Parks, Little Simz, PinkPantheress… We have a soft spot for British music, which was in the spotlight at the Brit Awards held at London’s O2.

Honorary Brit Kylie Minogue performed, and was – fittingly – awarded the Global Icon award, while former Drag Race star Bimini used their time presenting an award to speak up for trans rights: “Right now in the UK it’s a really difficult time for a lot of people, and trans people and non binary people more so, and I want you to know that everyone in this room loves you and you are valid, and trans rights are human rights.”

Most stars followed up the red carpet with a change of outfit to head to the after-parties hosted by record companies including Universal Music and Warner Music with Cîroc Vodka, with its garishly branded step-and-repeat (even the chicest of outfits would look terrible in front of that). Meanwhile star of the night Raye, who made Brits history with her six wins and adorably invited her grandma on stage with her, held her own post-show do. Dua Lipa is really leaning into her red hair era (some have called it ‘Cherry Cola’ hair), with this lingerie and leather ensemble topping off a night of outfit changes. Earlier she wore a strappy black leather gown by Versace on the red carpet, before changing into a black leather jacket and hot pants to perform, followed by a leather bustier and trousers.

Conan Gray’s Alexandre Vauthier white collared suit is beautifully tailored, but it’s the cleavage and belly-button baring top underneath that makes it really sing.

Most comfortable

Last year Charli XCX wore a DIY T-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘real winner’ (a dig at losing to Harry Styles), but this year’s after-party look was a far more glam affair - changing from her custom Marni gown into a flowy maroon dress.

Best bag

This whole outfit is adorable, a little weird and exactly what you want a 23-year-old up-and-coming singer to wear to a Brits after-party – but we only have eyes for the bag featuring what looks like an actual chocolate chip cookie.
